In an effort to keep the tournament participants close to the rink and public transportation, we have chosen to work out a group rate with the Holiday Inn, Gaithersburg.
The Holiday Inn has offered a significantly discounted rate of $79 per night (taxes, etc. not included). They have also offered to provide free shuttle service to DCBI participants.
Shuttles will be available to/from the Rockville Metro Station upon request. Shuttles to/from the Rockville Ice Arena will be running every hour during tournament play. Shuttles will also be available to carry players to/from the official DCBI party upon request (until 11PM).
To make reservations, call the Holiday Inn directly at 301-948-8900 and identify yourself as part of the “DC Broomball Invitational” group. Those looking to book online can do so utilizing the discount code “DCB.”
Reservations must be received by Friday, May 27, 2011. Any reservations received after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
